It was reported earlier on Thursday morning that traffic was banked up for up to 15km after the collision.

A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said paramedics assessed five people on Thursday morning, however there were only minor injuries.

No one was transported to hospital.

The road was open by shortly after 8am, though traffic is impacted in both directions and a reduced speed limit of 80km/h is in place.

Motorists were advised to still expect delays.
