Former Woolworths chief executive Brad Banducci has announced his next career move in a game of executive musical chairs.
Former Woolworths chief executive Brad Banducci is the new chief executive of Ticketek parent company TEG in a game of executive musical chairs.
As part of the executive shake-up, long-time TEG chief executive Geoff Jones, who has been in the role for 14 years, will mark a new position as chairman.
South African-born Mr Banducci has a 30-year portfolio of experience in retail and consumer sectors, including at Woolworths Group where he stepped down as chief executive in September 2024.
On the appointment, Mr Jones said he was “delighted to pass the baton” to Mr Banducci, whose “proven track record makes him the ideal leader to guide TEG into its next phase”.
“As chairman, I look forward to working with Brad and the team to continue to grow the business,” he said in a statement.
Mr Banducci said stepping into the role was “following both a personal passion for live events and a strong belief in the increasing importance of live experiences in general”.
“I am honoured to join TEG at this exciting time in its journey,” he said.
Mr Banducci’s role change comes after a series of shake-ups at TEG.
Earlier this month, the entertainment ticketing company appointed former Seven marketing director Larissa Ozard as general manager, marketing – live entertainment.
