Easter 2025: What’s open and closed across Australia this Easter long weekend

Here’s your full guide to what shops are open and shut on today’s public holiday.

The Easter long weekend is almost over for another year, leaving many Aussies needing to stock up at the shops before their normal routines kick back in.

Here is a comprehensive list of the stores that are open and shut on Easter Monday.

What is open Easter Monday?

Woolworths will reopen all of its stores nationwide on Easter Monday, with the exception of South Australia and the NT, which will have a handful of stores open.

Coles supermarkets will be open across the country, with some shops operating at reduced trading hours.

All stores in South Australia will be shut except for Port Lincoln, Port Pirie, Port Augusta, Adelaide Rundle Place, Whyalla, Murray Bridge Green, Mount Gambier, Victor Harbor, Mount Barker, and Berri.

All Bunnings stores will open their doors as normal on Easter Monday nationwide.

Aldi will also be open for the majority of states, but will remain closed for some stores in South Australia.

ACT

Easter Monday (April 21): All Westfield destinations are open 10AM – 4PM

Anzac Day (25 April): All Westfield destinations are open 1PM – 5PM

Easter Monday (April 21):

Westfield Kotara is open 10AM – 4PM

Westfield Tuggerah, Eastgardens, Hornsby, Liverpool, Mt Druitt, Penrith and Warringah Mall are open 10AM – 5PM

Westfield Bondi, Burwood, Chatswood, Hurstville, Miranda and Parramatta are open 10AM – 6PM

Westfield Sydney is open 10AM – 7PM

Anzac Day (25 April): All Westfield destinations are closed

QLD

Easter Monday (April 21):

Westfield Carindale, Chermside, Mt Gravatt and North Lakes are open 10AM – 5PM

Westfield Coomera and Helensvale are open 10AM – 4PM
