Man charged after car slams into the side of a house, killing three people

A man has been arrested after three people died and another two were left fighting for the lives after a car ploughed into a suburban home.

A man has been arrested after two people died and another two were left fighting for their lives after a car smashed into the side of a suburban house in Perth.

Emergency crews were called following reports a white Holden Colorado ute left the road and crashed with the rear wall of a home that backs onto Orrong Rd in Carlisle about 5.10am on Saturday.

A 34-year-old man and two 22-year-old men, who were all passengers in the ute, were treated by St John Ambulance paramedics for their critical injuries but died at the scene.

A 23-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were taken to Royal Perth Hospital to received treatment for their serious injuries.

The 22-year-old driver was treated for minor injuries and taken into police custody.

On Saturday night, he was charged with three counts of manslaughter and two counts of aggravated dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm.

The driver was refused bail and will appear before Perth Magistrates Court on Sunday.

Nobody was inside the home at time of the incident.

Anyone who saw the vehicle involved being driven in the time leading up to the crash is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.

Drivers are being urged to avoid the area as Orrong Rd in both directions between Francisco St and Archer St remains closed and will be for a number of hours.

Members of the public are also asked to avoid the area as a number of police and emergency resources remain at the scene.
