A woman in her 60s fights for life and four others injured in Sunshine Coast crash
A Sunshine Coast crash has left a woman in her 60s fighting for life and four others injured, including two children.
A woman is fighting for life and four people were rushed to hospital following a two vehicle crash on the Sunshine Coast.
Emergency services were called to the collision at the intersection of Mons Rd and Mons School Rd about 6.30pm on Friday.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said six crews treated five patients, including a woman in her 60s with life threatening injuries, who was rushed to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
Two children suffered neck and abdominal injuries and were taken to the hospital by paramedics in a stable condition.
A woman in her 20s received arm and abdominal injuries in the crash, and a man suffered minor injuries, they were also taken to hospital in a stable condition.
A police spokesman said the forensic crash unit was investigating.
