Police are investigating the potential link between two men who were hospitalised after an alleged road rage incident on Thursday night.
Police are investigating the link between two men who were hospitalised for injuries related to an alleged road rage incident in Sydney’s southwest.
About 10.20pm on Thursday, a 44-year-old man went to Bankstown Police Station with stab wounds following an alleged road rage incident. He was treated and taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.
Shortly after the 44-year-old was admitted to hospital, emergency services received reports a man had been hit by a car at The Avenue in Bankstown, about 2.2km from the police station.
A 27-year-old man was treated by paramedics before he was taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition.
According to reports from 9 News, the man claimed he had been hit by a car and dragged 15m on the road.
NSW Police have confirmed inquiries are ongoing and will be investigating both incidents as linked.
