Mighty wrappers and mid-range tractors on show
With nearly 50 machinery and equipment exhibitors, Seymour Expo is the place to see the latest farm toys, big and small.
MID-HORSEPOWER tractors, mulchers and sprayers are just the start. If it can fit in a shed and will make an on-farm job a little easier, it will be on show at Seymour.
Nearly 50 machinery and equipment exhibitors will attend this year.
Bertoli Farm Machinery will have a representation of the full Kubota range, tractors, mowers, generators, skid steer loaders and excavators.
Director Paul Bertoli said Kubota’s new-model Sidekick RTV would be a highlight on display.
“It has an outstanding worry-free Kubota CVT Plus transmission, which keeps the thick, double cogged belts tight for minimal slippage, ensuring fast response and excellent belt durability,” Mr Bertoli said. “It is good in all terrains, but very good in steep terrain.”
With electronic power steering, independent front and rear suspension, engine-assisted deceleration and a 48.3hp engine, the two-seat vehicle suits a wide range of applications.
Bertolis will also display a large range of Australian-made John Berends implements, as well as the Anderson Inline Bale Wrapper, manufactured in Quebec, Canada, distributed by Burder Ag Attachments. Powered by a Honda engine, the innovative machine offers continuous wrapping for a 50 per cent saving in plastic.
“The machines can remotely stop, start and steer from the tractor without leaving the cab,” said Burder’s Joe Mancini, “and have a patented final bale push-off system with a simple pull of a lever.”

Agco dealership John Sanderson Machinery will bring an extensive range of Massey Ferguson, Fendt and Iseki machines.
Josh Sanderson said their showpiece would be Massey Ferguson’s new Global Series 80hp tractor, which is aimed at the large lifestyle market.
“It has just come into the country three or four months ago,” Mr Sanderson said. “It’s probably a bit of a gap that Massey Ferguson has had for a little while, an 80hp nice compact tractor aimed at larger lifestyle properties or hobby farms.”
Goulburn Valley Ag will display a selection of South Korean-made Kioti and German Deutz-Fahr machines. Christian Barnett said the new Deutz-Fahr 6 Series 6130 mid-range tractor should draw a crowd.
“It’s not long new to the market here,” Mr Barnett said, “and a very modern style of tractor.”
The Seymour Alternative Farming Expo runs February 14-16.
