FARM World is aiming to satisfy even the fussiest appetite at this year’s event with its first Food & Fibre Fiesta.

The fiesta, as part of this year’s event theme Food, Fibre, Future, will feature festive exhibitor sales, demonstrations and free workshops.

Visitors can learn how to turn low-value lamb cuts into delicious smallgoods, how to make home-style pasta sauces and vegan jerky, and turn beer waste into high-protein and high-fibre cookies.

There will also be edible gardens that use water reticulation and aquaponics principles and a lesson on how cooking with essential oils can harness the power of nature to revolutionise the way families are managing their health.

The fiesta will be decorated with produce from the Baw Baw Food Hub. Stall exhibitors will include Tarago Olives, Blue Tree Honey and Clearly Delicious.

The Food and Fibre Fiesta will be on Saturday and Sunday.
