FARM World is the chosen venue for the first public showing in Australia of two new tractors in the popular German Deutz-Fahr 4E Series.
Imported by PFG Australia, the 95hp (69kW) 4100.4E and 85hp (62kW) 4090.4E ROPS models were unveiled to dealers in Victoria in late February.
The 4E Series now consists of three cab models — 62hp (45kW), the 4080.4E 80hp (58kW) and 95hp — plus the 85hp ROPS version.
PFG Deutz-Fahr tractor specialist Anthony Darveniza said the new variants brought increased horsepower, internal engine changes and larger radiators, but said otherwise they would look very similar.
“They have four-wheel wet disc brakes for independent braking, a synchronised shuttle transmission with 30 forward gears and 15 reverse, a CreepSpeed of 280m an hour and top speed of 40km/h.”
Both models are equipped with Deutz-Fahr’s four-cylinder, four-litre engine, hydrostatic steering and colour-coded ergonomic controls.
The 95hp model is $61,900, while the 85hp ROPS version costs $49,900, both fitted with Deutz-Fahr loader and 4-in-1 bucket (each figure ex-GST).
