VISITORS to the recent AgQuip, Henty and Elmore field days had the opportunity of a first-up look at the latest offering from Kioti Tractors – the company’s new 115hp cab model.

The PX1153PC is a higher spec, beefed-up machine joining the brand’s previous two models in the PX Series, the ROPS version 9520R and cab model 1052PC.

Kioti Tractors are made by giant South Korean farm machinery manufacturer Daedong and distributed locally by PFG Australia.

The 1153PC is equipped with a four-cylinder Perkins 4.4-litre 115hp (84kW) diesel engine.

Other new features include a redesigned bonnet incorporating a larger cooling area and intercooler, 74 litres per minute hydraulic oil flow to the remotes, electronic linkage control on the armrest, air-suspension seat, 3630kg rear linkage lift capacity and larger wheel equipment.

Transmission is a synchronised 32/32 high/low speed shift with Power shuttle, creep gears and declutch button.

PFG Australia NSW territory manager Robert Wruck said the 1153PC had now grown Kioti’s PX line-up, which has been on the market for five years or so.

“We’ve needed a bigger horsepower model in this range for some time, as well as some higher specs such as electronic linkage, bigger wheels and more hydraulic oil flow,” Mr Wruck said.

“The machine has been available in South Korea for three or four years, but we needed a few modifications done to suit the Australian market.

“We also have the usual attachments available to go with them, such as front-end loaders, four-in-one buckets, hay spears and pallet forks.

“The most notable features to me are the Perkins engine, the hydraulic oil flow rate, the three-point linkage lift capacity, electronic linkage and the upsized wheel equipment.

“The 1153PC will be a general farm tractor to suit hay and silage work, livestock use or vegie growers – most likely to be more in demand in the eastern states of Australia.

“It was probably the most popular of all our tractors on show at those three field days.

“We have stocks on the ground now and have already sold quite a few.”

Weighing more than four tonnes, the 1153PC can travel at up to 40km/h and carries a 130-litre fuel tank.

The redesigned cab features ergonomic levers, airconditioning, adjustable steering wheel and instrument panel and rear working lights.

The PX1153PC costs $87,995 (inc GST), with a 4-in-1 bucket as standard.
