Brandt opens early orders for John Deere Netwrap range
Harvest season might seem a long way away, but now is the ideal time to prepare for the season ahead.

It’s never too early to get everything you need and to be ready for a busy hay season.
Harvest season might seem a long way away, but now is the ideal time to prepare for the season ahead. In particular, it’s the best time to figure out how you’ll wrap your bales and protect them from the elements and secure the best pre-season pricing.
Brandt customers are already placing orders for the John Deere Netwrap range to guarantee they’ll have the right product ready to go as soon as this year’s hay season gets underway.
Brandt’s early order program runs until the end of July with Netwrap deliveries being rolled out in September. This forward planning ensures Brandt can forecast demand, lock in orders, and guarantee prices and a reliable supply of Netwrap to all customers.
John Deere Netwrap, baling twine and plastic wrap is designed to wrap round and square hay bales so they can be stored safely and preserve hay quality for months. Netwrap is engineered to be cost effective and efficient when used with a John Deere baler, but it can be used effectively with many other types of balers on the market, too.
Within the Netwrap range, John Deere CoverEdge™ is a popular choice across the country because it goes right over the edge of the bale and locks snuggly into place. This avoids the edges of bales being exposed to rain water and ground moisture that can gradually penetrate and spoil the bale.
CoverEdge™ covers 15 per cent more surface area of round bales than conventional netwraps and it also eliminates air pockets. The uniform wrapping also means bales fit tightly together when transported and stored, reducing the risk of water trickling between bales and damaging the wrapped hay over time.
All John Deere Netwrap is also designed for easy handling. The zebra striping system – a wide stripe on the right of the roll – ensures it is loaded into the baler correctly and an easily visible red stripe on the last 73 meters of the roll warns when the roll is about to run out.
Brandt recommends pre-ordering this season’s Netwrap not only to ensure customers have the right amount of wrap available, but to ensure they get the best deal. Pre-orders lock in delivery times and offer extended payment terms so customers can more easily manage cashflow throughout the harvest season.
“Brandt has continued, and will continue, to invest heavily in having products available when they are needed. Our pre-order program provides the best value and, combined with our extended payment terms, it allows our customers peace of mind,” says John Pervan, Brandt Director of Product Support ANZ.
“They know the product is on their property and ready to go, without impacting their cashflow. This allows them to focus on getting their crop harvested and on maximising their return on investment.”
Netwrap is available at all Brandt locations and pre-ordering is available until Friday, 28 July. Stock will also be held for in season purchases, but this will not offer the additional benefits that come with Brandt’s pre-ordering program.
