Aaron Warburton is a graduate of the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program– offered by the Sydney Graduate School of Management (SGSM), Western Sydney University’s innovative postgraduate business school.

For Aaron, postgraduate study provided the opportunity to combine fifteen years of work experience, and learning skills that were necessary to launch The Sponsorship Department – a multi-service sponsorship management company.

As the company Director and sole employee of The Sponsorship Department, Aaron must take on all marketing, branding and financial management – skills he learnt as part of the EMBA.

“I work with all types of businesses that have either invested in, or are looking to invest in sponsorship as a marketing medium,” says Aaron.

Postgraduate programs are designed to help students become future leaders and change-makers, unlocking their unlimited potential. A big believer in continual learning, Aaron enrolled in postgraduate study with the intention to bring his business ambitions to life.

“I wanted to put myself in a challenging, thought-provoking environment where I could enhance my overall knowledge of strategic business management and network with likeminded individuals,” he says of his decision to do so.

“Whether it was accounting, governance or marketing, I was able to relate my day-to-day learnings back into my business,” Aaron adds.
