VIETNAM Airlines is making it easier for Australians traveling to Vietnam and beyond.

It’s no secret Vietnam is the latest in a string of destinations Australians are travelling to in droves. Those looking for adventure mixed in with a hit of culture and a relaxed beach scene have been putting Vietnam at the top of their travel bucket lists for the past few years. So it comes as no surprise that with this sudden rise of popularity Vietnam’s own full service flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has become people’s the first choice when choosing to fly to this much loved and unique destination.

Last year the Airlines marked its 20th year of services to Australia celebrating this milestone with the launch of the new direct Sydney to Hanoi service. The new service was particularly special as it marks VA’s 55th international route adding to the more than 400 daily flights they  operate globally. It’s the only carrier operating between the two cities and the new direct service not only increased the capacity between Australia and Vietnam, but also reduced connection times to destinations beyond Vietnam, particularly Europe and Northeast Asia.

A spokesperson from the carrier says, “overall Vietnam Airlines will continue to provide outstanding service and is committed to future growth within Australia with continued improvements. We’re bringing Australia and Vietnam closer together.”

Over the last 10 months Vietnam Airlines have invested heavily in the Australian market, by introducing new aircraft, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on both their daily flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Sydney and Melbourne, and thrice weekly from Hanoi to Sydney, increasing the capacity and providing travellers with a luxury experience across all cabins of service. The three levels of services that the carrier provides include Business, Premium Economy and Economy, all of which will suit any types of traveller and budgets.
