Disneyland California: Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, Pixar Pier, Frozen live
Disneyland is different, but with new attractions, everyone will have fun.
It’s time to head back to the Happiest Place on Earth with huge new adventures opening up at Disneyland.
So, you’ve heard of The Happiest Place on Earth. If you’re lucky you may have even visited before: soared through the sky on Dumbo the Flying Elephant, joined in the celebration of a Mad Tea Party or met Cinderella and the other princesses in Fantasyland. You might have even shared a hug with Mickey Mouse, the most famous mouse in, well, ever. Right?
But if you haven’t visited the Disneyland Resort in California in a while, there’s always more magic to explore.
The resort is home to not just one, but two legendary theme parks home to over 100 mesmerising shows, parades and attractions. The original Disneyland Park, where your favourite Disney stories and Star Wars adventures come to life. Then there’s the neighbouring Disney California Adventure Park, home to epic Marvel heroes and inspirational Pixar pals. You’ll find many of these wandering around the new Pixar Pier – where you can eat, drink, shop, and ride everything Pixar. And while you’re here, you have to check out the Incredicoaster, a brilliantly fun ride based on the hit Incredibles films. Help catch baby Jack-Jack as he wreaks havoc on a high-speed chase.
But if musicals are more your thing, how about Frozen — Live at the Hyperion Theatre? It’s a dazzling full scale theatrical interpretation of the adventures of Anna and Elsa, and it’ll seriously make you want to build a snowman.
If you’re a fan of Guardians of the Galaxy you’ll love the Guardians of the Galaxy—Mission: BREAKOUT! ride. With thrilling free-fall drops, this adventure isn’t for the faint hearted. You’ll also get to shake it off with all your favourite characters: Groot, Gamora, and the Star-Lord himself, to rock and roll classics from Peter Quill’s beloved boom box.
You can also meet all your Marvel favourites, like Black Panther, Spider-Man, and Captain America: they all call Disney California Adventure Park home.
Meanwhile, over at Disneyland Park you don’t want to miss Mickey’s Mix Magic. Get your ears on and celebrate the mouse that started it all with an exciting projection show and epic dance party! Picture it. The whole family really, really happy at the end of a perfect day … Don’t you want that feeling, right now?
If you travel later this year you’ll be able to live your own Star Wars adventure in a galaxy far, far away at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Take the controls in one of three unique and critical roles aboard Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. On Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, join a battle between the First Order and the Resistance – including a face-off with Kylo Ren. Imagine it now! Living your own Star Wars adventure! Well soon you can when this thrilling new expansion to Disneyland Resort in California opens mid-2019!
With so many exciting attractions to explore, it’s easy to see that now’s the perfect time to make some magic at the Disneyland Resort in California. And wish so much to do, you’re going to want to make sure you have 3 to 5 days to experience it all!
