Finlay exhibition

WHAT: The latest exhibition to hit Willoughby presents a series of floral paintings by Peter Finlay. Finlay harnesses a singular vision on nature being an endless source of inspiration and life force.

WHEN: The free exhibition is open now and will show at the Incinerator Art Space until September 2.

Ideas of vulnerability  

WHAT: Pressed For Time is an exhibition by six north shore artists in response to the ideas of vulnerability and endangerment, especially pertaining to the environment, wildlife and human survival.

WHEN: Art Space on The Concourse until August 26.

Lane Cove theatre

WHAT: Lane Cove Theatre Company presents Next to Normal, a contemporary musical that explores how one suburban household copes with crisis. To book visit

WHEN:  The show will play at The Performance Space @ St Aidan’s until August 25.

A life in theatre WHAT: You’re invited to join Sandra Bates at The Ensemble as she recounts some of the history, highlights and inspiring moments from her 30-year career. Bates is the longest serving artistic director in Australia. She will be joined on stage by a special guest for each performance including Lorraine Bayly, Reg Livermore and David Williamson.

WHAT: Star of stage and screen Todd McKenney is coming to the Ensemble Theatre. His new show The Casting Couch is an evening of musical theatre and stories with a few special guests including David Campbell.

Shrek the Musical

WHAT: Everyone’s favourite ogre is coming to the Concourse stage in the hilarious stage spectacle based on the Oscar-winning, smash hit film.
