‘Cringey’: Julia Roberts gets handsy with Travis Kelce at Taylor Swift’s Dublin show

One of Hollywood’s biggest stars has gotten up close and personal with Travis Kelce, sparking a huge reaction from Taylor Swift’s fans. Watch video.

Hollywood A-lister Julia Roberts was seen getting up close and personal with Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce at the superstar’s gig in Dublin as Swiftmania continues to sweep the world.

Roberts placed her hands on the NFL hunk’s shoulders and chatted animatedly to him as a seemingly mesmerised Kelce smiled in the VIP tent at the Aviva Stadium on night three of The Eras Tour.

Fans say the A-list actress was giving off “mum vibes” at the gig.

The actress at one point even rubbed the sports star’s chest during their long chat.

Some fans thought the interaction was cute, with one posting: “Julia Roberts loves the Big Yeti, Travis Kelce... If that was anyone other than Pretty Woman herself, playing around with Trav I would be legit mad.”

Others referred to the 56-year-old star’s “mum vibes” while another wannabe lip reader hinted at a possible engagement, posting that Roberts appread to be saying to Kelce, “I’m so happy for you guys”.

However, other fans described Roberts’ exuberant exchange as “cringey”.

KELCE PRAISES ROYALS AFTER STUNNING SELFIE

Travis Kelce has described Prince William as the “coolest motherf**ker”, after meeting him at his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s London concert.

The NFL star and his brother Jason Kelce gushed about the Prince of Wales, Prince George and Prince Charlotte on their New Heights podcast, unsure if they could even discuss the major moment.

“They were an absolute delight to me, I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to bow to them or curtsy, or just be an American idiot and shake their hands like ‘sup dude’,” Kelce said.

Prince William stunned the world with his exuberant dance moves while at Swift’s concert last week, as he celebrated his 42nd birthday.

The future king took his two eldest children to the music superstar’s epic Eras show at Wembley Stadium last week.

A picture of Prince William, George and Charlotte, along with Swift and Kelce, was later posted to the singer’s Instagram page.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end went on to describe the royal father-of-three as “fantastic”, “personable” and “the coolest mothers*****”, while Jason said he was “down to earth”.

Jason said the pair were given guidance beforehand and told they didn’t need to bow as it was not an official royal event, but that he still addressed Prince William as “your royal highness”, adding he had “never felt so emasculated”.

“The highlight was Princess Charlotte, Prince George was great too, but she was so f****** adorable,” Jason said.

“I cannot express how much of a superstar she was.

“Maybe it’s because I have three girls now, but she had fire to her, she was asking questions, that was the most electric part of it.”

TRAVIS REVEALS MOMENT HE FELL FOR TAYLOR

It comes as Kelce revealed intimate details about his relationship with Swift, including why he “really fell” in love with the singer.

Kelce and Swift have been very public about their love with the pair frequently seen and pictured together, however, they have stayed fairly quiet about the details of their lives together.

During his appearance on the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast, the NFL player didn’t hesitate to gush about his superstar girlfriend while revealing the early days of their whirlwind romance.

The Kansas City Chiefs star praised Swift for being “very self-aware” and admitted that her frequent presence at NFL games allowed him to see her down-to-earth side.

“I think that’s why I started to really fall for her, was how genuine she is around friends, family,” Kelce said.

“It can get crazy for somebody with that much attention and she just keeps it so chill and so cool.

Kelce often alludes to his relationship with Swift, especially on his podcast New Heights which he co-hosts with his brother, but he rarely addresses it directly.

The couple have been romantically linked since September 2023, after the athlete said he attempted to hand her a friendship bracelet with his number on it during her Kansas City concert.

Swift later accepted his invitation to attend a Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium, and soon became a staple in the crowd, even though Kelce said she didn’t want a lot of attention.

“The first game she came to, against the Bears, I was like, ‘OK, I could probably set you up with everything,’” Kelce said.

“And she just walked right through the front door. There’s no going down or talking to security. She was like, ‘I just want to be around the family and friends and experience this with everybody.’”

Kelce confessed he “wanted to keep things private”, but also didn’t want to hide their relationship from the public.

“Nobody knew what was going on, [it was] really all over the place. I think it was we kinda kept it between us as much we could,” he said.

“You want to keep things private, but at the same time, I’m not here to hide anything. That’s my girl, that’s my lady, and I’m proud of that.”

The footballer recently made his Eras Tour debut when he joined Swift onstage at London’s Wembley Stadium.

“Dude, the concerts are electric,” he said.

“She’s having fun up there, so I can enjoy seeing her in her element killing it on stage. I love the show, man. She’s got bangers.”

It comes as Swift made a stunning appearance in London with her beau while dressed in an exquisite ensemble from Brisbane-based fashion brand VRG GRL.

The dress, retailing for $159, features long, flared sleeves in a vibrant apricot hue.

It sold out almost immediately after photos of Swift in the outfit surfaced.

Swift was joined by fellow A-listers including Ellie Goulding, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Sophie Turner with the group partying until 4am, making the most of Swift’s brief respite before her next tour stop in Dublin.
