The pettiness will reach a whole new level this season of Real Housewives of Sydney, which will make for great reality TV viewing.

Cast member Krissy Marsh said the off-camera antics are worse than the blow-ups we will be seeing on screen.

“The pettiness of the show bleeds into real life,” Marsh told Confidential.

“That you can’t even be civil with someone in a work environment because you are so opinionated or whatever your problem is, I wouldn’t give a s**t what happened to me in my workplace, I would front up because that is my job whereas these girls are bitching and moaning. I just think the general pettiness is really pathetic and surely we are beyond that at this stage.”

The latest season kicked off on BINGE on Tuesday, bringing together the familiar faces of Terry Biviano, Victoria Montano, Kate Adams, Caroline Gaultier, Sally Obermeder and Nicole O’Neil. There’s a new cast member too in Martine Chippendale.

“Kate and Martine are not in my social realm and never would be,” Marsh said.

“Martine is a lot younger and not in my social circle. We don’t interact.”

Marsh is known for her brash, bold and unapologetically loud personality but said she had “toned herself down” this season.

“In order for me to stay sane, I just had to accept a lot of things and that is the same in everyday life with any relationship, sometimes you have to compromise yourself in order to have peace and harmony,” she explained.

“That is really uncomfortable for someone like me that is naturally loud and naturally open. I am happy I did that but once you wrap (filming), you don't have to sit and pretend to be nice to someone.”

* A new episode of the Real Housewives of Sydney drops on BINGE each Tuesday at 1.30pm and is also available to screen on Foxtel.
