First photos of model Erin McNaught’s newborn baby boy
Erin McNaught and music producer Stasi “Stace Cadet” Kotaras have welcomed a baby boy, sharing his first photo and unique name with fans.
Australian model Erin McNaught has announced the birth of her first child with Adelaide-based music producer Stasi “Stace Cadet” Kotaras.
The couple welcomed a son, named Obi Brooks Kotaras, sharing the news on social media Tuesday morning with a black-and-white photo of the newborn son cradled in his mother’s arms in a hospital bed.
“Welcome home, Mr. Obi Brooks Kotaras. We can’t believe how perfect you are and both feel so overwhelmed with pure joy,” McNaught wrote in the post.
Obi, a name of African origin meaning “heart”, is also familiar to Star Wars fans as the name of Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The couple first revealed they were expecting their first child together on Mother’s Day, when McNaught posted a photo of herself and Kotaras, showing off her baby bump in a black dress as Kotaras gave her a kiss on the cheek.
Baby Obi is McNaught’s third child. She shares two sons, Evander, 9, and Ennio, 7, with her former husband, British rapper Example (Elliot Gleave).
The couple announced their separation in October 2022, describing it as a “natural end” to their 11-year relationship and affirming their commitment to co-parenting their sons.
McNaught and Kotaras began dating publicly just over a year ago, going Instagram official in October 2023.
The couple, now adjusting to life with their newborn, is said to be settling in at home in Brisbane.
