Aussies are renowned for our fresh produce and rallying to help a mate in need, and revellers at the Dandenong Night Market have enjoyed both this summer.

For the last month the Dandenong Night Market has raised money for CFA volunteers and given community members the chance to personally thank those who helped tame bushfires that ravaged Victoria.

Dandenong Market’s General Manager Jennifer Hibbs said the market attracted people to visit more than once.

“CFA members have be collecting donations and entertaining kids with fire hose tug of war and more water based fun,” Ms Hibbs said.

“There has also been night long entertainment from musicians Jonny Maldonado and Zack Godwin.”

Thursday January 30 is the last night market of the season and organisers said attendees are returning in droves to support CFA volunteers and enjoy fun festivities.

“It’s been amazing to see people from all over Victoria come to support our firefighters and enjoy all the food options we have available,” Ms Hibbs said.
