A Victorian-based food and beverage icon is back on the ASX ending a 20-year hiatus from the Australian stock market.

SPC Global Holdings Limited officially commenced trading on the ASX on Tuesday morning following a three-way merger in October.

Previously delisted in 2005 following its acquisition by Coca-Cola Amatil, SPC Global has now re-emerged following the completion of the merger combining The Original Juice Company, SPC, and Nature One Dairy under the SPC Global banner.

SPC Global also acquired Natural Ingredients, a leading supplier of frozen fruits, vegetables, purees, juices and dried fruit.

“This relisting is more than a return to the ASX; it’s a pivotal step in SPC Global’s journey to become a global food and beverage powerhouse,” said SPC Global chairman Hussein Rifai.

“By uniting these strong, iconic brands and expanding into high-growth industrial channels, SPC Global is poised to deliver sustainable, long-term value for our customers, employees, and shareholders.”

SPC Global has projected to deliver about $400m in revenue and $29m in EBITDA (post-AASB16) by FY25, powered by a portfolio of more than 700 products and a workforce of 600 employees,

“The formation of SPC Global marks the realisation of a vision we have been diligently pursuing since acquiring the business in 2019,” Mr Rifai said.

“With our rich, over 107-year heritage, and a forward-thinking approach to manufacturing and supply chain optimisation, we are well-equipped to expand our global footprint while staying true to our Australian roots.”

Following its relisting on the ASX, SPC Global unveiled its board, chaired by Mr Rifai, who led an investment team that bought SPC from Coca-Cola Amatil five years ago for around $40m.

Joining him on the board are Kerry Smith, former CEO of PFD Food Services, and Adam Brooks, both transitioning from The Original Juice Company (OJC).

Andrew Cohen and Robert Iervasi make up the rest of the new SPC Global Board.
