Four-storey house has rooftop cinema, eight-car garage
For years, the Roy family’s borderline sociopathic personal and professional exploits have been set against a backdrop of mansions, penthouses, and holiday hideaways that perfectly depict the characters’ insatiable greed.
As the fourth and final season of the show comes to an end, the production team pulled out all the stops when it came to choosing filming locations. In just episode one of the final season, there were multiple million-dollar abodes featured. See a full rundown of all the properties featured below.
Kendall Roy’s New York penthouse
Kendall Roy, played by actor Jeremy Strong, lives the high life in Manhattan in a three-level penthouse at the top of the tallest tower north overlooking Manhattan’s Central Park.
The 510 sqm apartment features a luxurious but minimalist contemporary aesthetic, with bright white walls, lots of glass, and gold trim.
A stunning spiral staircase connects all three levels, with soaring ceilings. A private, glass-walled elevator offers a unique view of Central Park as you travel between floors.
And for super wealthy fans who want to feel what its like to live like one of the Roys, the penthouse recently hit the market with soaring $43.3m (US$29m) price hopes.

Roman, Shiv, and Kendall’s L.A. mansion
Revenge is best served crazy on “Succession.”
Roman (Kieran Culkin), Shiv (Sarah Snook), and Kendall plan to avenge Logan’s (Brian Cox) remorseless blocking of their coup attempt. And they do it in Roy 2.0 style, launching “a high-visibility, execution-dependent, disrupter news brand” called The Hundred.
In the Season 4 opening episode, we see that the siblings have been working on their media start-up from a modern mansion in the hills of Los Angeles.
In real life, the Golden State spread is owned by a 26-year-old crypto billionaire who purchased it for $83 million in 2021.
The modernist hilltop spread, known as the San Onofre Estate, was built by developer Ardie Tavangarian and offers 1 acre with views of the Santa Monica Mountains, the Pacific Ocean, and downtown L.A.
Inside, the 1,860 sqm home features six bedrooms, 18 bathrooms, a car gallery, 20-person movie theatre, outdoor cinema, multiple pools, chef’s kitchen custom-designed by Nobu, and roof deck with a hot tub.
The primary suite can only be accessed via retinal scanner and comes with a retractable ceiling for stargazing.
The Pierce family’s West Coast estate
When Tom (Matthew Macfadyen) let slip to Shiv that Logan is aiming to buy Pierce Global Media, Shiv, Kendall, and Roman head up to see Nan Pierce (Cherry Jones) to see if they can court the company before Logan gets it.
Desperate to get Nan to stop seeing the Roy siblings as “fake fruit for display purposes only,” Shiv tell her they will preserve her family’s legacy and brand — something they say Logan is hellbent on destroying.
The conniving conversations are set in a historic $47.1m (US$30.8m) Californian compound, owned by former Google CEO Eric Schmidt. The 7-bedroom, 20-bath home is sits on 11 acres and features a spacious atrium centred around palm trees that soar to the roof; a limestone and marble fireplace, and a parlour lined with French, oak.
Shiv and Tom’s Tribeca penthouse
When the siblings aren’t squabbling, various lovers are. Shiv and Tom end a wild day with an awkward come-to-Jesus on their marriage at their shared New York apartment, where they also apparently keep their dog Mondale.
The penthouse, which last sold in 2003 for $11.8m (US$7.7m), has appeared in multiple seasons of the show, and was designed by architect Steven Harris.
The multi-level penthouse loft is in a converted 1930s office building in the cool New York area of Tribeca.
Inside, there’s a contained guesthouse; glass and teak-beam rooftop with views of Manhattan and Brooklyn; a chef’s kitchen; and a floating, leather-wrapped staircase that climbs the double-height living room wall.
Logan’s penthouse
In episode one of season 4, it’s Logan’s birthday — which, of course, means he’s miserable — much like the pilot episode.
Dejected and irritated by the cheerful guests eating his generous food, Logan escapes the fun with his bodyguard and BFF Colin (Scott Nicholson) to hit up a diner, rather than be around all the family and underlings vying for piece of him.
The party takes place at Logan’s penthouse in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The actual filming location is also on the Upper East Side — the building exterior and lobby are filmed at the American Irish Historical Society’s headquarters at 991 Fifth Ave. The scenes inside the home, however, are filmed on a sound stage.
In 2021, the space was listed for $79.4m (US$52m), but after receiving a petition with more than 40,000 signatures opposing the sale, New York Attorney-General Letitia James agreed to preserve the historic property.
Roman’s penthouse
In penultimate episode of the season, we see Roman inside his stark New York penthouse preparing for the eulogy he’ll deliver at his father Logan’s funeral.
As he paces through the four-bed, 4.5-bath property, we spy panoramic views of the Hudson River, the city skyline, and Central Park. Viewers also catch peeks of the apartment’s light-strewn bedroom, walk-in wardrobe, and marble-clad bathroom big enough to fit most New York apartments into.
Roman’s penthouse occupies floors 49 and 50 of 200 Amsterdam, the tallest building on the Upper West Side, which is also currently on the market for $58m (US$38m).
Buyers will have access to nearly 1900 sqm of amenities across three floors, including a spa, saltwater pool, state-of-the-art gym, private club, an outdoor terrace, and a library.
