A British four-year-old has proven he’s not like an average kid after achieving a truly unthinkable feat in a BMX competition.

Parker Gray isn’t your normal four-year-old.

While most preschool kids are focusing on trying to stay within the lines of their colouring books, Parker is showing he’s a different beast.

The youngster proved just how absurd he truly is when he not only competed in a BMX competition, he claimed a third placed finish.

Oh that’s right, the competition was for kids under-16 as well.

The tiny prodigy went up against kids almost four times his age at the championships that took place in Birmingham.

After getting his first bike at just 18 months old, Parker quickly showed he wasn’t a normal child.

“This sounds ridiculous, but it took him about 40 minutes to learn how to ride with pedals,” Parker’s dad Louis Gray told BBC.

“Once he figured out which way to push the pedals around, that was it — he was just gone.”

While most kids his age would kick back and watch cartoons for hours, Parker prefers watching mountain biking and BMX.

“We noticed him really getting into bikes in probably autumn last year, because all he wanted to do was just watch videos of people riding bikes,” Louis said.

Despite only getting his first BMX bike at the start of the year, the youngster has shown he has what it takes to mix it with the older kids.

“Everyone knows that Parker is the best at flatland, but it’s not fast enough for him, there’s no big jumps in it, it doesn’t excite him as much.

“He just kind of goes ‘yeah, I can do that. It’s easy’, but it’s actually really difficult for many.”

On top of his third placed result in the under-16s BMX competition, Parker also claimed a second-place finish in a downhill mountain bike race in Gloucester in July.

At his current rise, Parker Gray is a name to remember for the future.
