The Lachlan Galvin and Wests Tigers saga has added a fresh twist with the teen sensation reportedly set to be shown the door.
Lachlan Galvin’s tenure at the Wests Tigers could be coming to an end earlier than expected.
The 19-year-old playmaker is reportedly in talks with the club over an immediate release from his contract.

CODE Sports first reported the news which could ultimately see Galvin head to the open market before June 30.
The news comes after Galvin turned his back on a $6 million deal from the Tigers before telling the club his intentions to leave at the end of his current contract which expires in 2026.
The club have now moved to fast-track his exit with the final sticking point surrounding a transfer fee the Tigers would want for letting him go.
The Tigers have a bye this weekend with suggestions a deal could be done this week which would then allow Galvin to find a new home.
The Canterbury Bulldogs and Parramatta Eels have long been touted as the frontrunners to secure his services.
The Galvin saga has featured plenty of twists and turns with his bombshell decision to reject an extension sparking serious unrest among the playing group.
That move ultimately resulted in coach Benji Marshall dropping him for their round 7 contest as his teammates stood behind their coach and mocked the five-eighth on social media
Galvin’s management then took action by sending the Tigers a legal letter with accusations of bullying.
Veteran rugby league journalist Paul Kent stated shortly after Galvin dropped a bomb on the Tigers that his future had already been decided.
“I’ll declare it now, he won’t be at the Wests Tigers next season,” Kent said on the Kenty podcast in April.
“This season ... I think there’s a chance he could move on.
“Lachie Galvin is not allowed to talk to another club until November 1. I am strongly led to believe that he has already agreed to terms with Parramatta.
“It’s ready to go. Not allowed to do it so that will be denied, but it looks like for all intents he’s going to Parramatta. The deal is all but done.”
