1st Ashes Test: Piers Morgan, Stuart Broad fuming as Travis Head goes berserk
Piers Morgan and Stuart Broad have been left fuming as England fell apart and an Aussie star went berserk to flip the first Test on its head.
Australia has taken a 1-0 lead in the Ashes on the back of a blistering century from Travis Head that completely flipped the first Test and the series in favour of the hosts.
It looked like England were in a dominant position earlier on Day 2, cruising at 2/65 with a decent lead before a brutal batting collapse that saw the visitors lose nine wickets for 99 runs.

The Aussies were set a target of 205 runs to win and Head volunteered to come up from No. 5 and open the batting, filling in for Usman Khawaja who was nursing a back injury.
It proved a masterstroke, as Head took any anxiety out of the run chase with a trademark counterattacking knock that sapped England of confidence — a massive turnaround after they bowled so well in the first innings.
Head could do no wrong as he blasted his way to a 69-ball century, the equal third fastest by an Australian in Test cricket and his 10th career hundred.
He was eventually dismissed for 123 before Australia claimed an emphatic eight-wicket victory that puts the Aussies in a strong early position to retain the Ashes.
The series opener in Perth remarkably wrapped up within two days, leaving both teams 11 days to recover before the second Test begins at the Gabba.
Pat Cummins said he is a fair chance of returning from injury in Brisbane, while there is already plenty of debate over whether 38-year-old Khawaja will remain in the side after a lacklustre series of events in Perth.
