A man who was involved with fighting the Waroona blaze was airlifted out of the fire zone with burns to his back on Thursday.
The helicopter was sent to Waroona at about 2.30pm where, after being assessed, the man in his 20s was taken to Peel Health Campus by ambulance.
While he was involved in fighting the fire, it is not clear if he is a was a volunteer or with DFES.

A spokesperson from Peel Health Campus said the man's injuries were being assessed and although he had received burns, the extent of his injuries at this stage were unknown.
