A five-metre shark spotted at Perth's popular Cottesloe Beach, forcing beachgoers out of the water, is now at Fremantle beach, just off North Mole Drive, and continuing to swim south..
Surf Lifesaving WA said aerial patrols had detected the shark just after 12pm about 400 metres offshore of the coast of South Cottesloe at Warton Street.
Surfers were advised and asked to retreat from the water.
Channel Nine's Tracey Vo told Radio 6PR Afternoons host Peter Bell that one surfer remained in the water, despite the beach's closure.
She said the shark was breaching its dorsel fin.
