Season over? Fears Dockers captain Alex Pearce suffered multiple fractures of arm
Dockers captain Alex Pearce’s 2024 season may be over following a gruesome injury sustained in Sunday’s win over Gold Coast.
It is feared the star defender may have suffered multiple fractures in his forearm and elbow, with Fremantle currently seeking a second opinion following initial scans yesterday.

Pearce is a major reason for the Dockers’ resurgence up the ladder and push for a finals return, and has led the team in every game since becoming captain at the beginning of last season.
His vice captains are Andrew Brayshaw and Caleb Serong.
The 29-year-old would most certainly be in All Australian contention leading a Dockers’ defence which is the second stingiest in the league.
The news would be a huge dent for Fremantle ahead of Saturday’s Round 16 away match against ladder leaders Sydney.
