A 16-year-old Dalkeith schoolboy has been arrested and charged by WA Police over the alleged manufacture and sale of cannabis lollies.
It will be alleged the boy made and sold the lollies to a student at a western suburbs school on Tuesday.
The lollies were then ingested by the student and another female student both aged 16. Both required hospitalisation.

Police searched the boy’s home on Wednesday and he was later charged with selling a prohibited drug, possessing drugs, preparing a drug for use, unlawful possession of a prescription drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of possession of a prohibited drug.
A WA Police spokeswoman urged all students who had purchased or been given the lollies in recent days not to eat them.
“Initial investigations have established two other students from the western suburbs school were hospitalised yesterday after ingesting similar gummy lollies,” she said.
“Advice from WA Police is if you have ingested a gummy lolly and are not feeling well, seek medical advice urgently and if you are in possession of any of the gummy lollies, do not ingest them.”
The boy will appear before Perth Children’s Court on September 5.
