A man has been bailed after allegedly filming intimate videos of women at two shopping centres and a motoring event across Melbourne.
Police arrested the 37-year-old at a house in Mitcham, in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, on Thursday morning and seized a number of mobile phones, laptops and storage devices at the same time.

Officers have charged him with 17 offences, including producing and distributing intimate images.
Detectives allege the man followed women and captured images of them on his phone at the Glen Shopping Centre in Glen Waverley, and at the Melbourne Motor Show, which took place across the first weekend in April at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
They allege the man engaged in similar behaviour at a shopping centre on the Maroondah Highway in Ringwood.
“It will be further alleged the images were then uploaded online,” officers said in a statement.
“It is understood images were taken between March and July.”
The man was bailed to appear before Ringwood Magistrates’ Court on September 2.
