Brimbank City Council: What your candidates said
By Cara Waters and Rachael Dexter
Brimbank residents are voting for the councillors they want for the next four years.
The council has 11 wards represented by one candidate each, and voters will choose among 61 candidates.
The current council is led by Mayor Ranka Rasic. Two monitors were appointed in February to scrutinise council for 10 months until December 31.
The Age sent questions to each of the 61 candidates up for election at Brimbank City Council about why they are running and what they want to accomplish if elected. Of those, 16 responded.
