Man shot at home in affluent inner-Brisbane suburb
A man has been shot in the leg overnight in the wealthy Brisbane suburb of Ascot, but police are struggling to get a clearer picture of exactly what happened.
The 30-year-old victim was found at a home on Hopetoun Street about 3.20am on Tuesday.

The man was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition. The wound was not considered life-threatening.
In addition to speaking with the victim, detectives were also questioning a female witness, however, police said neither were co-operating.
Police were not searching for an active gunman because they did not believe the shooting was random.
The residence remained a crime scene on Tuesday and a weapon has not been found.
