Four people charged after man suffers serious injuries in park attack

A group of young people have been charged over an alleged assault in a park north of Brisbane.

A 37-year-old man was found with serious head and facial injuries outside a Morayfield shopping centre about 1.40am on September 8.

He had allegedly been assaulted by up to five people while pushing his bike through nearby Dickson Park.

Brisbane Times understands there may have been a confrontation before the alleged attack.

The man remains in Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with serious injuries.

On Friday police confirmed two 19-year-old women, a 19-year-old man, and a 20-year-old man had been charged with grievous bodily harm.

They are all due to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court.
