Crash on Walter Taylor Bridge causes traffic delays
An accident on a Brisbane Bridge has been cleared after a nose-to-tail traffic accident caused traffic delays.
Police were called at 8.30am on Tuesday to the crash on Walter Taylor Bridge at Indooroopilly.
One lane was blocked but was cleared just after 9.30am.
Two persons involved in the crash, one of which was a child, were experiencing chest pain and were taken to Queensland Children's Hospital and Mater Hospital in stable conditions.
A police spokeswoman urged drivers to avoid the area as the crash was causing delays.
"Police are directing traffic," she said.
Route 599 buses are delayed up to 25 minutes.
This is the second crash on a bridge in two days, following the head-on collision on Bribie Island Bridge on Monday afternoon.
