14 guns, a 3D printed silencer and 1147 rounds of ammunition found in hoarder’s den
A Queensland man has been charged with multiple offences after detectives found a cache of guns and ammunition in a squalid home.
In footage released by police, detectives can be seen walking through a hoarder’s den in Kearneys Spring in Toowoomba, where they found 14 firearms, a 3D printed gun silencer, 1147 rounds of ammunition, 250 grams of gunpowder, knives, and a taser.
During the three-day search, police say, officers also found 16 grams of methylamphetamine, 50 grams of testosterone, 5 grams of amphetamine, and 15 different restricted medications.
A 49-year-old man was charged with multiple drug and weapons offences, and 42 offences relating to child exploitation material.
The man is scheduled to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on September 15.
