A 22-year-old pedestrian suffered head injuries when his was hit by a car in Queanbeyan on Monday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the scene just after 7.30am on Canberra Avenue at the intersection of Donald Avenue.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said the 22-year-old man was treated at the scene by paramedics.
The pedestrian was taken to Canberra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police were at the scene as of 8.15am, although the road is not expected to be closed to traffic.
