A 25-year-old man has been arrested after a 32-year-old woman was fatally stabbed in Oatlands in Sydney's north-west, police say.
Emergency services were called to a unit in Ingleby Street about 4.50pm on Monday following reports of a stabbing.
The woman was treated by paramedics for multiple stab wounds before being taken to Westmead Hospital, where she died.
The man, who police said was known to the woman, was arrested at the scene and taken to Granville police station where he was assisting with inquiries.
Another man, who police said was also known to the woman, was treated nearby for a minor injury. He did not require further treatment, police said.
