On Sydney’s far north-west fringe, residents in the Hawkesbury LGA will vote for candidates to lead their region for the next four years.
The Sydney Morning Herald sent questions to each of the 62 candidates up for election at Hawkesbury City Council about why they are running and what they want to accomplish if they are elected. Of those, 12 responded.
Their responses have been lightly edited for clarity.
