UPDATE 8:10pm: Tasmania Police have located 11-year-old Zac Peters safe and well.

Zac was reported missing from his Old Beach home at 4am this morning.

UPDATE 8pm: Tasmania police are continuing efforts to locate 11-year-old Old Beach boy Zac Peters who has been missing since 4am this morning.

A Tasmania Police spokesman told the Mercury at 7.30pm that officers had not been able to locate Zac during today’s search but they would continue to make inquires.

Zac was last seen in a black hooded top/jacket, black track pants, black Nike shoes with a white tick and carrying a grey coloured backpack with stripes.

An eleven-year-old Old Beach boy has been reported missing.

Tasmania Police said the Zac Peters was last seen at Old Beach – in southern Tasmania – at 4am this morning.

Police understand Zac is in the south of the state.

Zac was last seen in a black hooded top/jacket, black track pants, black Nike shoes with a white tick and carrying a grey coloured backpack with stripes.

The young boy is described as approximately 152cm tall, of a skinny build, dark brown hair with a long fringe falling over his face and olive complexion.
