POLICE are investigating after a truck was torched just after midnight, in the state’s North.
Around 12.30am this morning, Tasmania Police and Tasmania Fire Service were called to a Kenworth truck alight in Stowport.
Police say the truck was completely destroyed as a result of the fire.
Initial investigations determined that the fire was deliberately lit and police investigations are
underway.
Anyone with information in relation to the fire or suspicious activity in the area last night or this morning is asked to contact Burnie CIB on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000.
