Man arrested after using car to damage five other vehicles in New Norfolk rampage

A 28-year-old man has been charged with dangerous driving after damaging multiple cars in a bottle shop car park.

A 28-year-old man has been charged with dangerous driving after damaging multiple cars in a bottle shop car park.

Police were first called to the BWS car park in New Norfolk on Saturday afternoon after five vehicles in the store’s rear car park were damaged.

Police confirmed a male was in custody and assisting with their investigation after being treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries, and taken to hospital.

He was released from hospital shortly after. No other people were injured in the event.

The 28-year-old is set to face court in November.

Police will continue to investigate the matter in respect to outlined assaults and reiterate that any witnesses to this incident should contact police on 131 444 or Crimestoppers 1800 333 000.
