German man to fight death by negligent driving charge in July
A German national will return to a Hobart court to fight an allegation he negligently caused the road death of a Huon Valley man.

A GERMAN tourist currently on bail will face court in July to fight an allegation he negligently caused the death of a Tasmanian motorist.
Friedrich Kurt Burkhardt, 66, appeared in the Hobart Magistrates Court on Tuesday when a one-day hearing date was set for July 1.
Mr Burkhardt denies causing the death of a 59-year-old Huon Valley man by negligent driving in his Fiat motorhome on the Huon Highway, Dover, on January 27.
Last week, Magistrate Reg Marron was told the hearing would canvass evidence from two civilian witnesses, six police officers and a traffic accident report officer.
