A SUSPICIOUS early-morning fire has completely destroyed a vacant Gagebrook house.
Police on patrol in the area observed the Bond Place property fully alight about 4.30am Wednesday.
Fire crews from Bridgewater and Glenorchy extinguished the blaze but the house was completely destroyed, with damage estimated at about $250,000.
Police are investigating the fire, which has been deemed suspicious.
It is the second time in two month firefighters have attended the address.
“The house received minor non-structural damage from an arson in February,” Tasmania Police said.
“That fire remains under investigation.”
