UPDATED: Two men have been flown to hospital in the Westpac Rescue Helicopter after a serious crash between a car and bus on the Midland Highway.

A MAN has been seriously injured in a crash between a car and a bus on the Midland Highway at Oatlands.
Police were alerted to the crash just after 5pm on Monday.
The male driver of the car suffered serious injuries and was flown to hospital in the Westpac Rescue Helicopter with his male passenger, whose injuries are not life threatening.
The driver of the bus, and a child on board, were not injured.
The highway was closed for a short time to allow the helicopter to land.
