Police are calling for witnesses following a fatal crash in the states North yesterday evening.
A 32-year-old motorcyclist from Underwood died after losing control of his grey Honda CBR motorcycle on Lilydale Rd, Rocherlea about 8.30pm.
The crash occurred near the intersection of Archer Street and involved a single motorcycle and male rider who was travelling east, police confirmed.
Emergency services were called to the scene.
Lilydale Rd was closed between Pipers River Rd and George Town Rd until 11.30pm.
An investigation to determine the cause of the crash in under way and police are appealing for any witness to come forward and ask that if anyone has dashcam footage of the motorcycle to contact police at Launceston Police Station on 131444 or Crimestoppers on 1800333000.
