Woman dies in horror Head on
6.30am, Tuesday, April 5
A 71-year-old woman has sadly died after a horror head-on crash at Westella Drive, in Ulverstone on Monday.
Emergency services were called to the scene at about 6:30pm
According to Tasmania Police, initial inquiries indicated that a Silver Toyota Hilux was travelling West on Westella Drive, when the vehicle has drove into path of a Blue
Suzuki Baleno Hatch travelling East, resulting in a head on collision between the two.
Police ask anyone with dash cam footage to contact
police on 131 444.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
Three hospitalised after car, motorbike collide
2.30pm, Monday April 4
Three people have been taken to hospital after a motorbike and car collided in the state’s north.
Police and emergency services were called to Stubbs Rd, Forth, just before 1.30pm after a motorcycle and car collided.
Members of Ambulance Tasmania assessed three people at the scene before they were transported to hospital as a precaution.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area until the scene is clear.
The extent to damage caused to the vehicle and motorcycle are unknown at this stage.
