A COLLINSVALE man facing federal child abuse material charges has indicated he will fight the allegations in the Supreme Court of Tasmania.
Colin James Lightfoot, 61, faced the Hobart Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
He pleaded not guilty to a suite of charges including five counts of using a carriage service for child abuse material, possessing or controlling child abuse material obtained or accessed using a carriage service, and one count of possessing a bestiality product.
Mr Lightfoot, who is on bail, will appear in the Supreme Court on November 15.
The Mercury previously reported he was charged in February in the wake of an investigation by the Tasmanian Joint Anti-Child Exploitation Team, including Australian Federal Police and Tasmania Police members.
