Rangers to shoot 90 dolphins on Aussie beach

Wildlife rangers in Tasmania have been forced to carry out a horrible task after efforts to return dozens of dolphins to sea failed.

An impact would be especially devastating given that YR4’s projected trajectory spans eight of the world’s most populated cities — including Bogota in Colombia, Lagos in Nigeria, and Mumbai and Chennai in India — with the total at-risk population clocking in at around 110 million people.

A snake that won a spectacular fight to the death with a fox in northern NSW has had successful surgery at a Gold Coast wildlife hospital. The carpet python ambushed the fox at Terragon near Tweed Heads on Tuesday, only to be bitten through the head. It managed to constrict the fox to death but was still trapped in the fox’s jaws.
