‘Disgusting’ sight proves birds have it out for a certain group of drivers
A pretty disgusting viral video of a luxury car parked in Sydney has exposed an unfortunate truth many drivers are going to be displeased with.
An Audi in Sydney’s west has gone viral after being filmed completely covered in bird droppings – and, as it turns out, science saw it coming.
The car, parked in a Pendle Hill carpark near Toongabbie, is so thickly coated in bird poop that its paint is barely visible.
Owner of Detail Expert, Garen, posted the sight to TikTok, telling his followers that he had “never seen a car covered in that much s**t.”
The video, which has amassed over 1.3 million views, shows the luxury sedan blanketed in excrement and a build up of leaves and twigs.

“This car stinks. It’s as if the birds are having target practice on this,” Garen said as he surveilled the vehicle.
Locals were quick to jump into the comments – instantly recognising the scene of the crime.
“It’s been here for weeks, I live nearby. There is a huge flock of ibis that live above the carpark. Locals know to avoid certain spots,” wrote one.
“I see that car every day and it gives me anxiety,” said another.
Garen told news.com.au that he has been in touch with the owner after the video went viral.
“The car was at a mechanic shop in Pendle Hill. Once the job had finished the owner of the vehicle decided to leave his car parked in the car park down the road, as he didn't have space.
“My business, Detail Expert has taken on this job, So far I have removed all the bird poop from the car and its in a process,” he said.

Garen believes Ibis’ are likely to blame, and have become a “pest in the area.”
“That whole car park area is in the range of all the Ibises, they have nests high up in the trees and breeding rapidly. Due to their activity I’m sure that they are causing a real mess wherever they are nesting,” he said.
The spectacle comes just weeks after a report revealed the cars that are most likely to be pooped on by a bird.
Earlier this month, Alan’s Factory Outlet released a study analysing which cars attract the most unwanted gifts from above.
It found that darker colours such as brown, red and black cars were the prime target as opposed to lighter cars.
It also revealed that Ram utes were most at risk of droppings, followed by Jeep and Chevrolet, while Tesla, Audi and Subaru all featured in the top 10.
Cumberland City Council revealed their Ibis Management Plan in 2021, stating their objective was to “address a range of issues associated with ibis throughout Cumberland.”
“The ibis bird population has gradually increased over recent years. As their population continues to grow, it is expected that further conflicts between Ibis and the community and environment will increase,” the management plan reads.
In particular, general issues include: “public nuisance, smell, fauna displacement, public health risk, damage to vegetation, degraded water quality, management costs and noise.”
News.com.au has contacted Cumberland Council for comment regarding the viral video of the poo-covered Audi.
