Residents in eastern parts of Australia are being put on alert for possible wild weather conditions, as temperatures reach above 40 degrees in other parts of the country. The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Maranoa and Warrego and Darling Downs and Granite Belt Forecast Districts in Queensland.
