iPhone 8 leaks suggest Apple will release pricey high-end ‘Ferrari’ version of device
APPLE is rumoured to be planning to unveil three versions of its next smartphone in 2017, with suggestions of a luxurious ‘Ferrari’ iPhone 8 model.
APPLE is planning to release a luxurious “Ferrari” iPhone 8 model, industry watchers have claimed.
The Sun reports the latest iRumours suggest the tech giant will unveil three versions of its next smartphone in 2017.
One of these is rumoured to have been codenamed Ferrari, indicating that it will be a super-deluxe version which will have tech fans drooling.
The rumour, which was reported on the Chinese tech blog cnBeta, is unconfirmed.
But it adds to mounting speculation that Apple is planning something big for its next smartphone, which is expected to be unveiled on the 10th anniversary of the day the late, great Apple CEO Steve Jobs showed off the first iPhone.
The Ferrari model is expected to feature a large “AMOLED” screen, which is a thin, light and energy efficient type of smartphone display.
Previous rumours suggest that the iPhone 8 will feature a stunning curved display built by Apple’s arch-enemy Samsung.
However, other iGossips have suggested Apple is planning something VERY different and will unveil an iPhone that folds in half just like old fashioned flip phones.
It is also expected to feature wireless charging, meaning the device will be juiced up by placing on top of a charger, rather than plugging it into the wall or a computer.
